Academic Career

> B.S. in Meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University

> M.S. Candidate in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science from the University of Maryland

I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in May 2014 with a B.S. in Meteorology. I received four minors which included Climatology, Earth Systems, Geography, and Geographic Information Science. During my time as an undergraduate, I served as the president of both the Penn State Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and the Penn State Chapter of the National Weather Association during the 2013-2014 academic year. I also served as the Penn State Campus Weather Service President in 2013.

Research Interests

With a background in snowfall and rainfall validation and calibration, I am very interested in remote sensing applications. I also have completed research related to air quality in relation to oil and natural gas drilling operations as a member of the NASA AQAST team.
