Current Research

For my PhD research I work with Dr. Antonio Busalacchi studying the coupling of biological and physical phenomena in the ocean's surface layers. Along with Chris Brown and Tom Smith of NOAA/CICS, we are currently exploring a statistical method to extend ocean color phytoplankton record back in time using SODA Reanalysis mixed layer depths and sea-surface temperatures here at UMD.
